Magnetotransport properties of Dirac nodal-line semimetal ZrSiS

ZrSiS - a 3D Dirac nodal-line semimetal is the newest member in the family of nontrivial topological materials, among which are more known 3D Dirac and Weyl semimetals. In general, a 3D Dirac system is situated at the topological phase transition between ordinary and topological insulators with conducting band touching in zero or one-dimensional interface. In these systems, many novel and interesting phenomena are predicted, and some of them are already experimentally realized, such as the Fermi arc state, chiral anomaly, planar Hall effect, large magnetoresistance, etc. The seminar will talk about interesting magnetotransport properties of ZrSiS. Focusing on a large and anisotropic magnetoresistance, quantum oscillations and how to link this results with the ARPES measurements.
